Share one bizarre encounter you’ve had in your life:
I was swimming in the Caribbean with my wife and spotted a Barracuda slowly swimming around. In my excitement, I pointed out the massive fish, my wife was not thrilled, she nearly drowned me in her panic to leave the water. She apologized and bought me a lobster dinner. Well worth the near death experience.
What was your first job?
My first job was cleaning up at the end of the day at a butcher’s shop, I can still recall the smell of flesh clinging to my nose hairs.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was a kid, a friend and I had a plan. I was going to be a pilot and he was going to be a doctor, so whenever I crashed my plan he would fix me up 🙂
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I still want to learn to fly a plane.
What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?
I didn’t get into trouble… much… when your parents come home in an hour, there can be no signs of fighting with your siblings. I learned to patch drywall at a young age.
How did you get into Real Estate?
I didn’t choose the Real Estate life, the Real Estate life chose me. I also wrote 5 exams.
Tell us about an embarrassing moment in Real Estate:
My very first showing, I was unaware there was a cat in the home, when I opened the door, the cat leapt out of the front door and ran down the driveway. I chased him down like I was running the 100m in the Olympics and actually caught the cat!
What is your philosophy towards your work?
Work revolves around people, so I treat people how I want to be treated; with honesty, respect and patience.
